(NLT) 45 All this happened so they would follow his decrees and obey his instructions. Praise the LORD! Verse 45 is the last verse of Psalms 105. I encourage you to read the entire passage. As you read it, allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart, concerning your current circumstances, and see how the Lords hand is in it. The hardest part for us is waiting on God to bring His plans, for our future, to fruition. During the wait, He is testing us or proving us worthy of His promises. Look at the life of Jesus. His birth was just like the prophets said (Matthew 1:23; Luke 2:1-7). Then God says nothing else about his life for 12 years. During those years Jesus, was growing and maturing (Luke 2:41-52). After the age of 12, we hear nothing for 18 years. Jesus was 30, the next time the Bible mentions him. Why so many years? That’s when he was ready. His time had come (Luke 3:21-23). He ministered for 3 years and it was 3 years of intense work. Those 18 years equipped Him for what He would have to endure, the cross (Luke 23:44-46). It took 33 years to get to this point. It was the Father’s will coming to pass. Jesus endured the cross. Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father. Ever knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He His Lord of all! (Phillippians 2:8-11). So all the suffering He endured was not in vain. So don’t lose heart, as you go through your testing period. Hold on to the Word of God and obey it. God is with you. Praise the LORD!

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings. — Philippians 2:13,14 QUESTIONS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER 1. Can you think of areas in your life where the Holy Spirit has been working in you to make some changes, but your flesh has been putting up a fight to resist His work? 2. Do you see more clearly that even though God has released His divine energeo — divine energy — to effectively and permanently change you, it still requires your compliance and obedience for His power to effectively operate in your life? 3. Can you name specific areas in your life where you have been murmuring and complaining about the changes God is requiring of you? If the answer is yes, are you able to explain to yourself why have you been making it more difficult for those needed changes to take place in your life? Sparkling Gem From The Greek, Volume II Rick Renner I encourage you, if you don’t have this book to get it! it’s been a blessing to me couple of course with the Bible, God’s inspired word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

(NLT) 20 Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— 21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21 Below is a link to another prayer That encourages us to wait on God. its a reference to when the Children of Israel were being led through the wilderness by Moses. God would would have them pitch a tent and wait on Him before they would move again. They had To wait until God said it’s time to move. some of us are going through the wilderness and need to learn how to ”pitch a tent” until God says it time to move. Don’t be anxious or fearful, just trust God. He knows what He’s doing in your life. This short prayer is featured on new album by Travis Greene called Tent Revival. https://youtu.be/wrIg47I3zi8

(NLT) 13 Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. 14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. 15 That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant. Hebrews 9:13-15

This song is an illustration of the love that God has for us. Even when we stray away, scripture reminds us that he will leave the 99, who never strayed, to go after the one. That’s love. I hope you enjoy. https://youtu.be/iUeAt4D9xXQ

Scriptures: Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:6-13; Luke 12:13-31; Luke 18:18-30 God promises to take care of our day life needs. He instructs us not to worry or be anxious that’s what unbelievers do. Verse 32 points out how thoughts of what we will eat and drink dominate the thoughts of unbelievers. Nor does God want us to be so consumed by money that we hoard and fail to share what he’s given us. Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” We have to learn how to content as mentioned in Philippians. We can’t over work our selves trying to amass wealth nor should we be consumed with worry when we lack. God know all things. Do we trust God enough to provide. Like the widow in I Kings 17:11-16, she had to trust the words of the prophet Elijah. Through her obedience they all were sustained through the famine. We don’t want to develop a greedy spirit. The rich ruler amassed a lot of wealth but because of greed he was unable to enjoy it. Luke 12:13 reveals where his true treasure resided. Jesus again repeats that we should not worry he will take care of his children. Questions: Do you have the tendency to worry over financial matters? How can you change that? What does Matthew 6:25-34 tell you to do? Who does God compare the person who worries to? Are you the type of person that believes that hou work hard for your money and you should be able to eat, drink, and be merry? Are hesitant about giving to others or supporting a ministry financially? What does Luke 12:21 say? Examine yourself and see where does your heart lie? What does Luke 12:31, 34 encourage each of us to do and what does it reveal about?

MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY I confess that I do not worry about God’s provision for my life. God has always been faithful to me, and He always will be faithful. Faithful is one of His names. He will always sustain all those who trust in Him and cast their burden on Him. Likewise, God will sustain me and help me. Even if my eyes cannot see the way, I know He is going to do it. Everything that I see is subject to change. Therefore, I focus my attention on the unchanging Word and the faithful character of God. I cast my burden on Him, and I trust Him to meet the needs of my life and to help me do the large tasks He has commissioned me to do! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name! (Sparkling Gems II, August 20, Rick Renner) What awesome words of comfort and assurance we have in Matthew 6:31-33

Just questions to ponder. No need to post a response. We are living in The last days. One of the signs is that men Would become lovers of selves more than lovers of God. A self-examination of your priorities can help reveal where your heart lies. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also. Matt 6:21 what do you give to God financially? Do you give tithes and offerings or make excuses for not giving and use the money elsewhere? What does your giving reveal about your love for God? Be honest. What do you do with your time? Do you make spending time with God a top priority, or do complain that you don’t have time to pray and read your Bible? If God looked at your life and measured what you love most by the things you dedicate your time to, what would He say? what do you do to serve others? By looking at your life, would God say that your actions prove you are more devoted to your own needs and interests, or that your life demonstrates you are in love with God’s church? When you pray, what do you pray about? Do you pray about yourself only, or do you pray for the needs and dreams of others? If God were to give a report about the things He hears you pray about, would He report that you are an unselfish person who’s concerned about the needs of others, or would He report that you are only concerned about yourself? what personal sacrifices do you make to serve the Lord? If God opened the books to reveal the sacrifices you have made for Him or others, would the record reveal that you care deeply for God and live in obedience to His commands, or would it show that you are unwilling to inconvenience your life in any way or sacrifice any of your private plans? What do your spending habits reveal about you? Would God say the Gospel is most important to you, or would he say that your spending habits reveal that your driving motivation in life is simply pursuing comfort and pleasure? what are you sacrificing to be obedient to God? Is there anything you are laying down in order to walk in obedience to God and His word? Would God say your life reveals that you are willing to take up your cross to do what He asks of you, or that you do everything you can to avoid letting anyone or anything inconvenience you? what does your lifestyle reveal about your priorities? Does your lifestyle reveal that you love entertainment, pleasure, comfort, and happiness the most? Are you consumed with yourself and your own needs and offer no service to anyone else if it requires you to sacrifice your time, energy, or comfort? If God were to comment on your lifestyle would He say that it is dedicated to Him and to fulfilling His plan? Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves….. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Sparkling Gems From The Greek Volume II, July 18.
