Who we are:
God
We believe that there is only one true and living God and his name is Yahweh. He exists in 3 equal manifestations: the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. That in the beginning, God, in His goodness, created all things and sustained all things by his word.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. Christ, in His love, died for our sins and was raised by the power of God. Being now seated at the right hand of God the Father, Christ established an everlasting way for us to dwell together with God, and He is the only name by which man can receive salvation.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit that takes place in the life of a believer and that we are vessels in which the Holy Spirit dwells. We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows gifts to man, which enables us to fulfill God's purposes within our generation.
Scripture
We believe that the bible is a historical document written by men who were carried by the Holy Spirit. That the words written down were not of man, but God. We believe that the scriptures point to Jesus Christ, and the bible gives us an understanding of what has been, what is currently happening, and what is to come.
Church Body
We believe that Christ is the head and that we are the body of Christ. We view each person as an individual born with gifts and talents and understand that they possess a DNA that is unique and significant in the makeup of the body of Christ. Each member is dependent upon each other. We practice a culture of honor that appreciates the grace upon a person's life to receive and promote blessings for all.
The Great Commission
We believe that before Christ ascended into Heaven, he commissioned the church to GO and disciple All Nations. In following Christ's command, we break the grip of darkness over people groups, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring forth a greater manifestation of the Kingdom of God
The Gospel of the Kingdom of God
We believe Christ came preaching the good news of the kingdom of God, which he proclaimed Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. We believe that the death of Christ and repentance gave us access to the Kingdom of God. That Christ brought unto us a kingdom, not a religion.
5 Fold Ministry
We believe in the church being sustained and built up by the graces of the fivefold ministry. The fivefold ministry consists of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, and Teachers. Christ gave these ministry gifts to equip his people for works of service until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Baptism
We believe that baptisms are outward expressions of one who has been born again. Baptisms are given upon request when one makes an intentional decision to follow Christ.
Communion
Before Christ ascended into heaven, he broke bread, drank from the cup, and shared it with his disciples. What he did was symbolic of the giving of his body and shedding his blood to establish the new covenant. Today we intentionally give thanks, break bread and eat and drink from the cup in remembrance of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us.
Purpose
We believe that each person was born for a reason and that a person's life is proof that God had a desire to see something within the earth. We acknowledge that Christ died for all souls, which expresses the value of each life.
Family
We believe that God in his goodness established the institution of families. That families were meant to be a blessing and the support system that enabled individuals to be who they are destined to be.
Marriage
God, in His wisdom, created marriage as a Holy union that would bring a Man and a Woman into a covenant relationship together. In this Covenant, the Man and Woman become one and helpers to one another to fulfill God's purposes for their life. Marriage is the only unifying process that God sanctions for the production of offspring.
